"All the lyrics are pretty much inspired by life," says lyricist, Wahidah, who draws on emotional feelings of teenage angst, lust and growing up to write their songs.

The band has recently drawn much attention in the indie music scene ever since their latest tour, performing with collaborating indie bands such as “Sobs” as well as “Cosmic Child”, organised by their local record label, Middle Class Cigars, that took place throughout Southeast Asia, stopping by major cities like Bangkok, Jakarta and Manila.

Middle Class Cigars had only recently picked up Subsonic Eye late last year and the band has been nothing but grateful to the organisation for giving them the exposure and opportunities they need to bring the band to all new heights.

Subsonic Eye has also been working very closely with the local band community and taking every chance they can get to perform with their peers. "I feel that the local band scene here is very welcoming to new artists, and we really try our best to support one another in every way possible," says Daniel in regards to the local community.

As the band continues to develop their music, you can expect to see them at more events coming this year especially since they are currently working on their newest album which has yet to be officially announced to the public. They will be drawing from different inspirations, a departure from their last album 'Strawberry Feels'. They are hoping to evolve their sound into something more than what their current audience can enjoy.

Daniel says: "Keep a close eye on us cus' our next album is gonna really knock your socks off!"
