Bhutan

Bhutan is home to some of the most incredible views in the world. Bring your friends on an unforgettable hike up the mountains and attend exotic local festivals. There’s no better bonding than the moment when your whole clique looks out into the distance on a mountain, all with the same goal, and the unique perspective you gain from climbing.

Hong Kong

The night market in Hong Kong is the ball. They sell all kinds of assorted items; from trinkets, clothes, to toys. I love visiting little stores that open till late, especially those that sell relatively cheap but authentic desserts like Tang Yuan (glutinous rice ball). It’s a close neighbour, has great food, great culture and a vibrant nightlife. Be sure to check out Hong Kong!

Australia

A time-tested classic, Australia is an excellent place to go to with your friends. Check out the Great Barrier Reef, the tons of beaches to soak in the sun, and so many islands! Make sure you check out Phillip Island, where visitors get to see cute little penguins up close! (Squeal). With adorable and iconic animals like koalas and kangaroos, Australia is definitely a staple on many graduation trip lists.

Japan

Kyoto would be an amazing visit for me after graduation. It’s one of the more affordable parts of Japan to travel to, and has tons of amazing shrines I want to go to. I mean, have you seen the Fushimi-Inari shrine? It’s so instagrammable! And what’s not to love about Japanese Culture? Give Kyoto in Japan a look the next time your friends bicker about where to go for grad!
