Ask yourselves this question: What have we done for our planet Earth that is sustainable?

When faced with the adversity of irreversible damage to our climate by 2030, we must increase our efforts in protecting our home faster than our rising temperatures.

In this fast-paced lifestyle, we tend to overlook small problems. Slowly, it snowballs into a major issue.

However, unlike an actual snowball, this would not melt away as time passes. We need to break the ice, get people talking and on their feet to solve this.

In this version of CATCH, we dig deep into the role of nature and how we can help to save our planet.

An advocate for saving the environment, social media influencer Brenda Tan shares her adventures in “Weeding Out Unsustainability”. Through having a voice on social media, she has gained a sizeable following and does her best to grow a love for the environment through her influence.

“A Stroke of Art” shows how a beauty business like 13rushes can be animal cruelty free. Also, find out how local entrepreneur Melissa Lam in “BambooStrawGirl’s Fight to Promote Zero Waste Living” reduces waste through her daily routine.

“New Way to Rescue Food” shows us how we can reduce food wastage with technology through simple taps on our mobile phones. And, “Are You Eco-Le” follows the journey of Thng Hui Hien and her efforts in educating Singaporeans on the impact of reusables.

At the end of the day, we must turn back and look, did we harm our surroundings in the name of convenience?

If we can treasure and love a shining diamond, a rock our planet produces, why can’t we hug and protect our home? Sacrifices need to be made now to save Mother Earth.
