Flowers speak of life, flowers bring the colour into the gloom of life. While we pondered upon a theme for this issue, we realised that perhaps, right now, what the world needs now could be sought in the wisdom of flowers.

In the 34th issue of CATCH magazine, we hope to express life through the language of flowers. We chose five different flowers - marigold, rose, liliac, chamo-mile and orchid. Each one presents a different meaning that twines into various unforgettable experiences and memories.

As passion burns its way through marigold, find out how Shuen proves that nothing is impossible as she runs her nail tech and floristry businesses, and participates in dance competitions all at once!

Love is not always a bed of roses, but it is the greatest gift. CATCH features local pop artist, Dominic Chin, and the tender loving relationship with his grandmother and how she was his source of inspiration in his music career.

There is a period for lilacs to bloom, and so do we. Pei Qi, a youth environmentalist, comes forward to share about global issues and fight against climate change.

When in the face of adversity, everything seems bleak. Under chamomile, we are in awe at how a Judoka endured countless hardships to be where he is right now.

Finally, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As we dive into orchid, we use make-up to touch on the perceptions towards masculine and feminine beauty.

Flowers go through different seasons, yet they still blossom at the end of the day. We hope that as you go through our issue, that you too will feel the radiance through the language of flowers.
