As we get caught up in our hectic schedules, we often forget to appreciate and realise our growth as a person; be it as a parent, child, or even a friend. Whether it’s the incessant hunger for academic success or the never-ending struggle with mental health, we usually find ourselves grappling with many challenges. However, the game of life is not about getting ahead, it’s about enjoying the journey.

Eventually, it comes to the question: What makes life fulfilling?

For CATCH’s 46th Edition, our team simulates and explores people’s life travels in the form of games. Through ‘Game of Life’, we magnify ways to move forward while achieving success and widening opportunities.

Starting off with Run, we explore ways people ‘escape’ from places, people, or situations to accomplish greater heights. Admire one of Singapore’s fastest sprinters, Elizabeth-Ann Tan, and focus on her journey in athletics.

Moving onto Hide, we conceal ourselves from people’s view while finding comfort in the protection we receive. As we uncover the hidden and peculiar secrets of today’s society, we are able to gain a new-found understanding of not only ourselves, but of other people as well. For instance, learn more about how Sqkiimouse’s approach to hide and seek can unite people and inject joy into their lives.

Ending off with Seek, our team reflects on the real essence of life, discussing what people can pursue to obtain happiness and fulfilment. See through the eyes of Aarthi Sankar as she spreads her love for animals through her work at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

The CATCH Team hopes to inspire and encourage those who are struggling in life to venture out into the unknown, hone their creativity and remain open-minded. Remember, life is truly fulfilling when we are able to ‘unfold’ ourselves and enjoy it as a game.
