Pink for men has always been a controversial issue, especially when it comes to choice of clothes. It takes much confidence to wear and pull it off. These days, however, men wearing the colour pink have increased. Pink was, in fact, once a boy’s colour. On the other hand, blue was once a girl’s colour. Blue represented feminine hues or was associated with the Virgin Mary. Despite the fact that colour codes seem to be an irrevocable and timeless law, it is undeniable that pink has a mysterious alluring effect.

Not only does pink compliment most skin tones, men who wear pink seem to give off an attractive charm of confidence, and sensitivity at the same time. Among the rich and educated, pink is a popular choice as it exudes swagger for whoever who wears it.Pink also coordinates well with almost any colour of clothing in the wardrobe. It matches well with grey, tan, black, navy and other similar tones.

If you think you’re not ready to don yourself with a solid pink outfit, it is easier to start out with pink accessories and outfits that have a touch of it. Pink accessories can include pockets, ties and cuffs. Another comfortable way to sync in with pink is getting a button-down dress shirt. It is hard to go wrong with a button-down pink dress shirt since it is universally associated with preppiness. You can also balance out your shades of pink with masculine accessories, like suspenders. Pink chambray has its masculine style that balances out the colour. With it, it harkens back to pink’s working class roots.

Truly, it takes a real man to pull off pink with manliness and confidence.
